From the Bride:
How they Met:
Adam and I met online. We went on our first date to Gordon Biersch, which lasted 5 hours long. After our first date, we knew this was something more than just a casual date. Adam proposed in May 2017. I had to go to Colorado for a work conference, and a day before I left, we closed on our house. While I was in Colorado, Adam and one of his friends started moving furniture and getting things settled. Adam picked me up from the airport and took me to our new house so I could see what Adam and his buddy had worked on. Adam had furnished the living room and there was a cookie cake (which is my favorite) asking for my hand in marriage. Obviously, I said yes.
The Wedding:
Adam and I love spending time with our dog, Lily. She obviously had to be incorporated into the wedding day somehow, so Lily was present for some of the “first look” pictures. Adam also has an obsession with ice cream. A special delivery was made from Betty Rae’s ice cream, cookies and cream shakes. The floral arrangements were absolutely beautiful thanks to KP events. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the wedding, besides marrying Adam of course!
There was one grandparent out of four that is still alive today and was able to travel from Wisconsin. My grandmother Agnes is 94 years old and wanted to make me feel special since I am her only grand daughter. We had to make sure there were some special moments between Agnes and I.
We had a large bridal party (seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen). The wedding and reception went absolutely perfect. It was a perfect spring day, and Adam and I enjoyed spending our special day with all our friends and families. My dad and I had a break out dance for the father/daughter dance. It started out slow but then we had to bring out some sunglasses and fast paced music to get the party started. The day was just perfect!
