Luckily for our brides, we can rely on local design studio Ila Bean Bridal for some adorable flower girl gowns! Whether you are looking for a pre-made style or something completely custom, there’s something for every little girl to love!
Meet Ila Bean Bridal:
Sara is the designer and maker behind Ila Bean Bridal! Along with her mother, Joyce, Ila Bean Bridal officially launched in 2011. Since then, they’ve dabbled in bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and finally settled down to work on a collection of flower girls dresses available exclusively at Altar Bridal!
We love this fun and innocent collection filled with sweet details, like petal sleeves and dotted tulle!
From this collection, you can customize almost anything! Or, if you’re interested in something completely unique, Sara can make a completely custom design for you!
Custom Designs:
A great of example of her amazing custom work is this gorgeous dress designed for a little princess who wanted to look like Romy Schneider from the movie Sissi! The skirt alone took over 10 yards of tulle! Maddie wore her gown to a performance of the Nutcracker ballet at the Kauffman Center.
Sara and her mom love being able to get to know customers on a personal basis as they work on creating gorgeous elements for their wedding days! They were especially honored to get to help sisters Kyle and Margaret on their days almost a year apart! Not only did Sara create flower girl dresses based off her Lucille dress, she also made bow ties for the ring bearers in Margaret’s wedding. In addition to this, Ila Bean Bridal painstakingly removed vintage lace from their mother’s wedding gown and hand placed it on a veil for both brides to wear!

When Sara isn’t sewing (or managing Altar Bridal), she spends her free time crafting, hanging with her bulldog Lucy and her husband Chris, and making pie.
